College Professor Jack (Jon Briddell), his wife Melissa (Erin Coker) and their sone Nate (Hayden Byerly) have just moved into a new house in a sleepy neighborhood near Jack’s new school. From the start things seem weird as they are approached by a deranged neighbor looking for her cat as the Realtor is turning over the keys. Soon strange things begin to happen and Nate starts to change in demeanor as he reveals a mean streak that is strangely encouraged by the new sitter.
With his 11th birthday around the corner (on November 11, 2011 to be precise!) he gets random gifts from the neighborhood who seem very intent on helping him celebrate the day in style. Among the gifts is a very creepy book on being 11. This bedtime classic features pages with Mayan temples and declares that the devil himself will return to human form and celebrate his 11th birthday on 11/11/11! Small world, ‘cause that’s the same day as Nat….hey, wait a minute! Maybe Jack and his bedridden wife didn’t catch on as quickly as me but instead they are forced to learn the hard way. Hijinks ensue leading up to an epic finale.
